NASA awards contract for exploration ground systems program services

NASA selected ARES Technical Services Corporation in Burlingame, Calif., To provide support services for the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Lump sum cost-plus, indefinite delivery /The open-ended contract begins on October 1 with a base period of one year, followed by a two-year option and four one-year options which, if exercised, will run until September 30. 2026. The total contract value, including options, is approximately $ 115.3 million.

Under the contract, ARES will provide engineering and technical services, program and business management support services, and administrative support services to the EGS program. The contract also includes assistance in the planning and design of ground systems and space flight systems; project management and integration; integration and analysis of operations; development, management and compliance of technical requirements; cost, risk, information and configuration management; and plan for integration and analysis.
