The Cooperative Health Center / Community Clinic is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Director to help the management team manage the programs, services and human resources of the Cooperative Health Center.

The successful candidate for this role should possess superior knowledge of business administration, budgeting and possess strong leadership qualities.

Previous management experience overseeing operations, human resources and finance with a strong ability to collaborate with a wide range of departments is preferred.

Responsibilities of the director: Oversee daily operations. Develop and monitor program goals and objectives, including identification of program performance indicators and evaluation related to the portfolio. Budget management. Human resource management, including hiring, orientation, planning, conducting performance reviews and supervision in accordance with Cooperative Health Center policies.

Director skills:

Strong decision-making skills, Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, Ability to motivate and lead people, Strong working knowledge of operational procedures, Great organization and attention to detail, Strong work ethic, Excellent computer skills, Monitor and administer the provisions of the collective agreement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a degree in a health or business administration related field or three years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Working knowledge of primary health care delivery and community health center management would be of great benefit to applicants.
